Who is behind SoundFingers?

Hi, I'm Matt — a lifelong music enthusiast who studied piano for 8 years and self-taught guitar. Over the years I explored production, mixing, sound design, and field recording before finding my true passion: building virtual instruments.

I started with Kontakt instruments in 2018, then transitioned to the HISE framework (built on top of JUCE) at the end of 2021. Today, SoundFingers plugins ship in VST3, AU, and AAX formats for both Windows and macOS.

The mission

My ambition is to offer original, purpose-built instruments designed specifically for Reggae and Dub music. Every plugin is crafted to inspire musicians and help producers achieve that authentic sound — without compromise.

SoundFingers is a solo venture. That means every decision, from sound design to the last line of code, is made with care and a deep love for the music.
